The undertaking provided by all AI Usage Classifications™ licensees
By accepting a licence to use the AI Usage Classifications™ ("the Classifications"), the Licensee undertakes to AIUC Global Pty Ltd ("the Licensor") as follows:
The Licensee undertakes to comply at all times with the AI Usage Classifications™ Code of Practice, as published and amended by the Licensor from time to time. The Licensee acknowledges that the Code of Practice forms a binding part of the licence agreement.
The Licensee undertakes to apply the Classifications in good faith and accurately, selecting the Classification that best reflects the actual level of AI involvement in the artefact, content, or product being classified. The Licensee will not knowingly misrepresent AI involvement.
The Licensee undertakes to use the Classification Badges only in the form provided by the Licensor, without modification, and only in relation to artefacts that have been classified in accordance with the Code of Practice.
The Licensee undertakes to maintain adequate records of classification decisions for a minimum of three (3) years and to make them available to the Licensor upon reasonable request. Professional Licensees undertake to use the AIUC Navigator Content Register.
The Licensee undertakes to cooperate fully with any audit conducted by the Licensor, including providing access to classification records, sample artefacts, and other relevant documentation.
The Licensee undertakes to notify the Licensor promptly if it becomes aware of any breach of the Code of Practice by itself or by any staff member or contractor acting on its behalf.
The Licensee undertakes not to permit any third party to use the Classifications or Badges on its behalf without ensuring that third party is bound by equivalent obligations, or is acting within the scope of the Licensee's own licence.
The Licensee acknowledges that breach of this Undertaking may result in termination of the licence, removal from the public register, and potential legal action by the Licensor.
